We are a group of around 18 friends that all live on Longfellow avenue and a couple of people live locally .
We basically go out upto 4 times a week keeping our area clean by collecting litter and rubbish of the surrounding roads

Hello neighbours of Longfellow Avenue, The Friends Of Longfellow Group was formed during the initial Coronavirus Lockdown i More.....
The Friends of Longfellow have used the money that we where given to set up our litter picking group. To buy all our volunteers hi vi's vests and have our logo printed on them. We bought litter picking rings and gloves. We then used what we had left to buy ink for our printer and made card to hand out with our contact details and to recruit new volunteers. We have gained 2 more since starting ????
We also bought some signs that we put up to warn about fly tipping.
Had a great morning out with Toby Hewit helping clear the back of hulton lane pictures on gallery over 15 bags collected as well as 3 mattresses a fridge freezer and a stand alone fridge !!!
