Full Description:
We are developing a small area of land next to St Joseph’s church into a community garden. There are raised beds for growing food, and for flowers to encourage pollinators. We have built a dead hedge to encourage wildlife. Also a row of hedging , donated by the Woodland Trust, will give food and habitat for wildlife.
Old church pews have been upcycled into seating.
An overgrown length of land on Back Apple Terrace is now being cultivated, to enhance the visual aspect of this street.
