Full Description:
GERA Grown and Share is a community garden in Kearsley, where people can grow there own food and share any surplus within the community.
Our current project involves the creation of a Childrens garden and mud kitchen to encourage children and their families to engage with the oudoors inaddition to learning about where food comes from.
We are also creating a medicinal garden growing plants such as Yarrow, Mullein, Self-Heal, Calendula etc to encourage people to learn about and utilise alternative treatments/therapies.
Future projects include the creation of a greenwood working area to build skills and share experience.
