We also do basic conservation work in the area, clearing paths, cutting back overgrown shrubs, generally tidying to make everywhere looked loved and cared for and, of course, litterpicking.
We have started working in the grounds of St James Church, clearing undergrowth around the graves giving a more respectful environment for those buried there…. there has been a fantastic from local residents who have come out in force to help. This church dates back to the 1800s and the cemetery also has war graves in it.
