Full Description:
Westhoughton Allotment and Gardening Society have been working to improve our environment and encourage people to get involved. Our aims are to take on gardening projects and maintenance tasks around the town centre and local areas, tapping into the skills of the ‘green-fingered’ and those able and willing to give some time to the community. Doing some good around the local environment whilst encouraging gardening, food cultivation, wildlife and nature conservation.
We’re always keen to recruit more volunteers who can help out occasionally, with planting, weeding, litter picking or by adopting a tub or planter and water it in dry periods over the summer. If you would like to help, please contact us.
