Attention: BGU member groups,
We are very pleased to launch our small grants programme for 2023/2024 using funding recently received from Bolton Council, which they acquired from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF).
The aim of these BGU grants is to provide quick and easy access for small groups who are registered on the BGU website to access a relatively small sum of money. We know how difficult it is for small voluntary groups to get funding – the seemingly endless hoops to jump through, the need for a group bank account, having to justify the “need” for what you want to do ….. and feeling discouraged and demoralised if the bid is rejected. So we’ve tried to take all that into account and take a flexible and understanding approach, while at the same time carrying out due diligence to ensure that this public money is being distributed to genuine cases.
