Purpose of the Programme
Our small grants are designed to support grassroots environmental and community projects across Bolton. Funding is available to groups that are registered with Bolton Green Umbrella.
Who Can Apply?
Local voluntary groups, new initiatives, and community-led efforts that aim to improve Bolton’s greenspaces.
Grant Amount
Each eligible group can apply for a grant of £200.
How to Apply
Simply complete the application form and return it using the contact details provided at the end of the form.
Deadline Information
More information will be available when the Grants Programme officially launches.
What Makes a Strong Application?
We’re looking for groups that are actively working in Bolton’s greenspaces and can clearly show how the funding will:
- Enhance their local area
- Support volunteers
- Strengthen community involvement in green projects
Decision Timeline
Applications are reviewed promptly. Successful applicants will be notified by email, and funds are usually transferred via bank payment.
Reporting & Follow-Up
Once the grant has been spent, recipients will be asked to complete a short feedback form to share how the funding was used.
