The grant funding allowed us to lay hedges outside SS Osmunds and Andrews Primary School, we even later did a wildflower planting sessions with the kids. At Leverhulme Park the grant funding allowed us to focus on restoring and maintaining an important wildflower meadow with yellow rattle but also let us recover over 100 square meters of Heathland, preventing important habitat loss. The volunteer work was streamed regularly and seen by thousands of local residents.
