We'd like to thank Bolton Green Umbrella for the generous donation from the High Street Clean-up fund. For some time our litter-picking teams have been having to share equipment, making the picking of litter a rather slow affair. Using these funds, we have been able to buy additional hoops for the refuse sacks, meaning that each person now has their own refuse sack, making litter collection much easier and quicker.

We've also been able to obtain more hi-viz jackets with our group's name printed, so that local residents know who it is that's out and about trying to make our community a more pleasant place in which to live, and gloves have helped protect our volunteers' hands from dirt and scratches as they go about this important work.
