Litter-picking equipment now available in libraries
After a successful run of litter picking equipment being available for the public to pick up from Farnworth Library the Council's Libraries and Museums department have agreed to keep equipment in ALL of their 10 libraries (Blackrod, Breightmet, Bromley Cross, Central Library (Bolton Town Centre), Farnworth, Harwood, High Street (Daubhill/Great Lever), Horwich, Little Lever, and Westhoughton) as well as at their 2 Historic Houses (Smithills Hall & Hall I'th' Wood).

The libraries are located across the borough meaning it should be easier than ever for concerned local residents to take back the pride in their neighbourhoods by helping to keep their area clear of litter
