Thank you to High Street , Community, Clean Up Funding for volunteers.

The funding given to my group enabled us to buy general gardening equipment to go out on the streets in New Bury  and attack the grot spots.

Thin out hedges, trim back and clear the footpaths. Sort out fly tips. As well as do an enormous amount of litter picking  

As I am a council worker in Manchester City Centre this is like a busman’s holiday to me, but, I get a lot of job satisfaction knowing that our area is getting cleaner and more safe. Without the tools to do this it would not always be achievable.
