Thank-you so much for the BGU Grant.
We found the application form very straight forward, so it wasn't a daunting procedure

Please provide some details of how the funding was spent:
The money has helped with tools, a skip and refreshments enabling us to clear an old ash pit before transforming it into a new and inclusive green space

Please describe some ways that you have been able to improve the environment in your local community using the grant: 
We have been able to work on the footpaths in the area improving access and safety.

Has this had any positive effects on your volunteers, e.g. feeling acknowledged and appreciated?
The volunteers are very happy and always welcome new equipment and copious amounts of tea and cake. The money has been a great kick start to a long term project to improve the area.

How has this benefitted the local community?
Keeping footpaths safe, clearing fly tipping and developing a new greenspace

Have you had any feedback from local residents in relation to what you have done?
We have positive engagements on all of our task days, social media feedback reflects a positive attitude
