We are very much appreciative of the grant we received and is helping us tackle and improve the environment around our area.
We are a small group, and we found this application process was much easier, compared to the experience say with CVS

As a group we applied for the funds to be spent on:
1. Public Liability Insurance.  We were able to find insurance with Policy Bee.  The cost for Insurance was £89.60
2.The group required equipment for litter picking and cleaning, so we bought Grass Strimmer from Amazon for £79.99
3. We spent on the last £30 on buying seeds to plant flowers on Swan Lane

We are now able to attract volunteers with the Insurance we have for the group, and using the equipment we are able to clean up some of the green spaces we have in our area in particular on Swan Lane and Mancroft area.  We will utilize the streamer for the upcoming Rumworth Alliance Litter Event.

The planting of seeds on the grass on Swan Lane will bring abit of greenery in our area and brighten the environment and makes a positive feeling and pride in the area we live in
