Thank-you very much for the BGU grant.
The application process was simple and straight forward.
We bought a wheelbarrow, pruning tools, and rakes, and were given litterpicking equipment from Bolton Council. The tools purchased will help to improve overgrown pathways, gain access to difficult to reach areas due to mass shrub overgrowth and allow litter to be removed from these new areas, making the area overall more attractive, appealing and habitable .

Members of the group were delighted of the news of the grant it has opened up new opportunities for new activities and productive public engagement. 

It has benefitted the local community by providing better access to pathways and harder to reach areas so that more of the areas affected can be utilised not only by the local community but by wildlife too.

We haven't had much feedback from local residents as of yet but when prompted with ideas there was a lot of enthusiasm and excitement to experience the results.
