BGU Grant F'back 2024 12th Bolton Scouts

Many thanks for the BGU grant to our Scouts group 
We have bought gardening tools, bedding plants, gloves, litter pickers & rings.
We have been able to improve the grounds of Rosehill Church making this a better area for passers by and for the Church congregation.  We have been able to join in with litter picking around the area making this a better environment for the community.  I believe that if you show people what needs to be done to improve the area they will follow.

This has had a very positive effect on our young people. Most certainly we have been recognised and thanked on facebook and rewarded with cakes 
We also make the local paper with the local group we have joined which mentioned our scouting group. The youngsters are very motivated to improve our local community with keeping Bolton tidy.

This has benefitted the local community because the streets in the community are much cleaner and the food source for local vermin removed.
