Many thanks for granting £200 to Red Lane Growing Project; we found the application process very straight forward

The money has helped the purchase of bulbs, corms, seeds and compost which will be used to brighten up the project site. Any surplus will be shared between other community groups in the immediate area and plugs will be given out to individuals for their own spaces. 
The seeds are still growing but the outcome will be a brighter and more cheerful environment. We hope that by providing plants to households it will encourage greater participation in environmental projects in the future.

We have recruited new volunteers who specifically want to grow flowers at the project as our previous focus has been vegetables.

Keeping footpaths safe is a benefit all the park users.

We have had an increase in engagements with local residents and look forward to more positive feedback when the plants are in bloom. Without this funding we would not have been able to provide this opportunity
