Thank-you for the grant of £200 for Women of Willow Hey

We have purchased seeds and plants and some bamboo and twine to make windchimes

By planting the seeds and plants we are making the area more pleasing to look at and the sensory aspect is much improved also. The bees we have in the hives will be grateful for the pollen which is great for the environment in general

The volunteers have enjoyed getting outside to dig and plant and can see the fruits of their labour and feel proud when others comment on how nice it looks and feels on the site 

When it's pleasant to walk round this helps people feel happy ,it's an oasis from all the day to day stresses to walk into a green space filled with flowers and uplifting sights and sounds in nature this helps the local community having this beautiful cared for space in the middle of a housing estate
