Thank you very much for the grant of £200 to the Horace Street Community Group.

We have used the grant to buy 1 bulk bag of MOT type 1 hardcore and 2 bulk bags of limestone chippings. 

These materials are to provide a larger area for pupils to stand/work on. Currently the area is uneven. A small section has been completed to demonstrate to you how the final work will look. We have done this as time is so short before the end of March when feedback on the grant was required. I have also added two photos. One shows the area of land we are trying to improve. The other shows just a small section which has had some of the gravel put down. We will complete the work in the very near future

Our volunteers have worked had to get the garden to the stage it is at now. This extra improvement to the environment shows us that our efforts are valued by our wider community. Pupils from local primary schools will be able to use the garden area without getting their shoes muddy.
