Thank-you for the grant from BGU
Please note money was only transferred 27.3.24 so we are at the very beginning of this project.

£159.99 Stihl strimmer
£  19.98 safety helmet with visor/ ear muffs

We aim to improve the environment in our local community by addressing over grown ginnels and pathways will be cleared of encroaching briars and nettles.
Time will be saved as clearing overgrown areas without this equipment is labour intensive.

Many locals not only complain about litter in the ginnels but nettles and brambles over running them. This is why we want to take further action. They will have clear access once we receive delivery and can set to. The equipment will help us to maintain a clear pathway on the much used Ruins lane Brook area as well as aforementioned cut throughs.

Work is still to commence. Efforts will be posted to Local Facebook page and responses sampled.

I intend to take pictures which I will forward along with sample responses from the community.

Thank you very much for the funding to start our green and clean project.
