Thank-you so much for providing us with this opportunity with the £200 grant.

The grant was spent purchasing waterproof clothing and boots for young adults with additional needs. We volunteer at local green spaces.  Following the grant we have completed two litter picks in Moses Gate Country Park and Ivy Road Allotment and visited Washacre primary school to help with their growing beds in the school Forest area.

This has had very positive effects on our volunteers.  The young people were warmly appreciated at all venues and particularly enjoyed helping the Reception class at Washacre Primary school.  The young adults have been visible in their community helping others.

It has benefitted the local community by demonstrating that our young adults have much to offer their community, the funding has set us up to continue to share our skills and improve green spaces.
