Hi Folks.
It's that time of the year again, and GPAG would like to invite you all to take part in our traditional annual Mayday Parade on Monday 6th May.
Everyone is welcome and it's a fun day for all the family!
GPAG will show you how to pond dip, and how to identify the creatures you've found. There will also be other attractions like bouncy castle, face painting, 'splat the rat', 'feed the frog' and more, much more, particularly if you like wildlife!
We will be meeting as usual at the Levers Arms car park in Darcy Lever (please feel free to check out that brilliant pub as well!!), at around 12.30ish. Or alternatively park up at Crompton Lodges car park in Moses Gate Country Park and walk the 10 minutes, into the Pits, to visit the event any time between 12:30pm and 3:00pm.
The event is completely free but donations are very much welcome and greatly appreciated, as they will go directly towards the continued maintenance of the Darcy Lever Gravel Pits, and to allow us to hold events like this.
See you all there?
