Belford Drive Area Residents Association, try to be proactive around this area, therefore providing various events throughout the year for the children and adults, and also, we try to encourage other residents around the area to attend.
We have promoted Easter, Halloween, Ramadan, Diwali and other highlighted days that may become relevant throughout the year.
Therefore, at this festive time of the year, it is always pleasant to encourage the residents to try to enhance a little bit of the festive community spirit.
We realise that some residents live alone, or are sick and disabled, and maybe this part of the year is a time to reflect on life and another year ending.
Therefore, two of our members have taken the time to go around the area dressed in their festive finest, and with Santa in tow, to deliver cake (donated by Park Cakes, Bolton Green Umbrella and the Growing Good Will Fund. whom we thank for their loyal support) and cheer to those most vulnerable, and to say hello and offer a festive welcome to be involved in the resident’s association, and therefore have the opportunity to integrate with other individuals within the area, therefore increasing their wellbeing and mental health and being reminded they are not alone.
