The funding has been used to change the old chicken coop into a new greenhouse for individuals to use and grow new vegetables and products.
This has allowed the space to be opened into a green space with more food growing opportunities, to show and educate on sustainability and growing your own food.
It has had a positive effect on volunteers who have felt empowered to continue providing opportunities for the community to benefit from
People in the local community have now identified the space more, through funding from BGU and being visible on BGU website.
