We have ordered £120 worth of plants and will be ordering bushes ASAP.
On the 30th of May we are unveiling a statue of Alice Thomasson, a nurse from World War 1 who was the first female to die from Farnworth. It will also share the names of other veterans who died in service. The statue will stand about 10 feet high.
We will be planting the flowers and bushes once the statue is built which will help to make it a suitable memorial
