The money has helped with a bulk shop for snacks and refreshments which are the back bone of any outdoor group, the money has also helped pay towards PPE. Our conservation work continually improves the area, the extra equipment (PPE) means we can use more power tools to keep the footpaths clear.
It has had a positive effect on our volunteers, they are very happy and always welcome new equipment and copious amounts of tea and cake. The money has been a great kick start to a long term project to improve the area.
It has benefitted the local area by maintaining a safe and accessible green space
We have positive engagements from local residents on all of our task days, and social media feedback reflects a positive attitude towards what we do.
