Five Ways Happy Days Walk Project

Bolton Green Umbrella Monday 08 September 2025

The “Five Days Happy Walk Project” has been developed by Bolton Council’s Active Lives Engagement Team. So far it has concentrated in the area of Deane/Morris Green/Lever Edge, but it is hoped that the idea will be rolled out to other areas. Click here to read more about this on Bolton Council’s website.

The walk bypasses the entrance to four schools, Deane and Derby Cricket Club, Sunnyside Park and Morris Green. The two-mile route features five waymarks and each waymark gives people the chance to find out about one of the five ways to wellbeing – being Connected, Learning, being Active, taking Notice and Giving back to others (CLANG).
