Ivy Road Community Project:
We got the funding! Harpers Lane Community Garden applied for funding from the GM Green Spaces Fund to create a forest garden at Ivy Road. Click here to read an article in the Bolton News.
The new forest garden will be on both sides of Ivy Road about half way up near to Cunliffe Brow, and it leads into the wonderful local nature reserve (LNR) Captains Clough which stretches for approximately one mile up to Doffcocker. Captains Clough is also the target for renovation and restoration, click here to read an outline of that project, but please note that the crowdfunder is now closed.
