IMPORTANT: Sadly we have had to close down all the activities at St Chad's as the tower has been deemed unsafe and there is no prospect of the church having the funds to rectify it. Bolton at Home have kindly offered us the abandoned growing site on Beechcroft Avenue and most of our activities will be moving there. This page will be updated once that move is complete
We are a multi-purpose site open to the local community. We have a growing area with 6 outdoor growing beds, and polytunnels for additional growing all year round. We have a gazebo with a living roof for outdoor gatherings and a shed with wood burner for the winter months. We enjoy growing fruit, veg and herbs as well as general gardening and arts and crafts. We will be having bee hives from summer 2022.
We have also been joined by the Seven Acres Men in Sheds,
Both the growers and Men in Sheds meet on Mondays Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10:00am until at least 3:00pm
We meet Weekly on Mondays between 10:00 and 15:00.
