Willow Hey Men in Sheds Meet on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday from 10am -3.30pm

A Men in Sheds is a larger version of the typical man’s shed in the garden – a place where he feels at home and pursues practical interests. A Men’s Shed offers this to a group of such men where members share the tools and resources they need to work on projects of their own choosing at their own pace and in a safe, friendly and inclusive venue, they are places of skill-sharing and informal learning, of individual pursuits and social interaction. A place of leisure where men come together to work.

At Willow Hey Men in Sheds We engage Local men ages 18 and over living in Farnworth and surrounding areas to come together to participate and lead on food growing, woodcraft, joinery construction and green woodworking sessions.
Our aim is to capture those men who are experiencing social isolation, have retired, are long term unemployed, have a long term illness, those who are disabled but that are still active enough to share skills, ideas, offer advice, and share industry knowledge to support local younger men in learning useful, transferable, skills that they can use to find work,
