Green Umbrella donation : GLC Allotments

First of all, GLC would like to thank very much BOLTON GREEN UMBRELLA for their kind donation, received in the second half of 2020.
WIth this donation, GLC has been able to further expand the reach to the most vulnerabe in the Bolton Community, and use donation for the following initiative: 

• Great Lever Allotment :

• WIth the donation, we have been able to invest in further gardening ground as well as additional tools, in order for our community members to get initiated or grow their gardening skills.


• The pruchases also included some seeds, plants.

Thanks to this generous donation, this has helped us to add to the variaty of vegetables & fruits growth and contribute to a great sense of community. 
The participation to the Great Lever Allotment is open to all community members who want to volunteer a couple of hours of their time, at the time and frequency that suits them. It is an amazing way to get individuals a sense of self-accomplishment, responsibility and learning to contribute to a team.
