Thanks so much for the BGU grant.
The photo is of the polytunnel we are in the process of buying - the ground is being prepared at the moment. 
We have bought the polytunnel (price £180) for our allotment plus £20 on pots and seeding trays

Our plans are to raise plants from seed for our comunity gardens, hanging baskets and particularly for the bowling club. We estimate this will save the community in the region of £500 per year.

Not only has it brought all the tenants of the allotment together it has opened up interaction with other groups, again particularly the bowling club. Our tenants feel they are making a very positive contribution to their local community.

Everyone is now aware that we have a community allotment playing a significant part in community planting projects. We are planning at least one public open day and a visit from the school
