Thank-you for the £200 grant which we put to a ‘heritage and walking’ sign improvement on Hough Fold Way. It had become impossible to read and the council hadn’t the key to get into it anymore and the type was faded. I attach a before and after image.
We used the same posts and I checked the info via the Secretary to Turton Local History Society and tried to use as much of the old information as possible but used maps rather than photos to illustrate the paths and previous farms and bleach works.
