Currently we are 3 neighbours tackling a bit of an unsightly area in Egerton behind Blackburn road in a one way back street. We know that even in a semi rural location like Egerton there is still a biodiveristy crisis and plus we are just inspired to join the greening the grey movement.
Community Alley Garden Egerton
With the opening of the Greater Manchester Green Spaces fund and also the trialling of the rain garden planters in Edgworth we are interested in putting a bid together for rain planters around Bolton.
Project Title: Un-grey the Alleyway
Aim to encourage sustainable planting schemes with hardy perennials and create small but frequent water attenuation points.
