We are a Deane based community action group. We aim to get the community together on a regular basis, to promote community cohesion within our local area and wider. We put on fun days, summer events, community clean ups and weekly litter picks to keep our estate and streets tidy but to also teach the young children on the estate about having pride in their local area.

The funding was spent on materials needed towards our community action days These consist of litter picks, community fun days, planting and growing sessions
In these sessions we have been making seed bombs, planting bulbs and general cleaning up the local area. The plants on site make it more aesthetically appealing and the families are encouraged to take the seed bombs with them and throw in any unkept are More.....
