We have been established since March 2022 although a number of us have been active for several months.
Our group has over 20 volunteers. Some of us are active daily whilst others volunteer on a weekly basis.
Group picks are organised regularly. Our volunteers are committed in keeping our area tidy and litter free. We often support other local groups in their area.
We litter pick and are dedicated in keeping our streets tidy including green space.
Some of us can often be found mowing community lawns.
Communication with other groups is key and we have received much positive support as we have started to grow.
We are all very proud of where we live and have most definitely made an impact in our community.
We meet Daily on Sundays between varies and varies.

Thank you very much for the grant monies for 'Highfield and New Bury Litter Pickers and Community Group'
The process for applying for the grants was extremely simple, which was very helpful and not time consuming.
We have purchased the equipment needed to make up several litter picking trollies for our wonderful volunteers. This has had a positive impact with volunteers within the group. Some volunteers are now able to go out litter picking more often in the community as the t More.....
