Many thanks for the grant from BGU
the fund goes towards additional equipment not provided by the council. We would also like to purchase high viz logo coats to help keep volunteers safe and warm during bad weather 
By having the appropriate equipment we can use our time more productively 
The volunteers are aware of the fund and felt the money given was an endorsement of their selfless work, to keep Bolton tidy.
By organising group picks in targeted areas we have helped to encourage others to get involved in  their community by clearing grot spots, this has allowed other groups to establish themselves such as gardening groups 
We have had lots of appreciation given for our work, we have messages via social media and people walking past
