RED LION COMMUNITY GARDEN

The Over Hulton Community Group has a terrific relationship with the Red Lion pub at Four Lane Ends. This has led to the plot of land next to the pub’s outdoor drinking area being turned into a Community Garden. Each planting season the landlord buys the plants and community volunteers plant them! The sign for the garden was showing serious signs of age. Two of the volunteers stepped forward to make a new one – and a superb job it is. Well done Rob and Paul – what a nice touch those Lancashire Red Roses are!
