Police act on off-road bikes

One of most most complained about types of anti-social behaviour is the riding of illegal off-road bikes in our parks and green spaces, and on paths and pavements.
They are often ridden recklessly and are dangerous to people who are just trying to enjoy a walk, and also create a noise nuisance over large areas.
Because of cuts to police budgets this has been a relatively low priority for some time, so it is encouraging to read a recent article in the Bolton News where the Safer Roads Targeting Team conducted an operation in the worst hit areas.
